Mixed results for Terang pennant
TERANG’S pennant bowlers had a mixed bag of results last Saturday.
In division two, Terang Blue 44 lost to City Blue 67.
G. Downie 18 lost to K. McMahon 44, J. Hefferan 14 lost to S. Bartlett 23 and D. Morrison 12 lost to K. Maddern 20.
In division three, Terang Red 58 defeated City Maroon 51.
D.Delaney 15 lost to J. Nisbett 22, N. Uebergang 32 defeated G.
Fox 9 and P. Templeton 11 lost to M. O’Brien 20.
Division five saw Terang White 35 defeated by Timboon Purple 44.
A.Bell 18 lost to L. Payne 24 and E. Dakin 17 lost to K. Brown 20.
In Tuesday pennant’s division one competition, Terang Blue 55 defeated Warrnambool Gold 49.
G. Downie 19 defeated J. Carroll 16, A. Taylor 19 defeated B. Hawker 12 and P. Reid 17 lost to R. Hill 21.
Division two saw Terang Red 45 defeated by Timboon Gold 67.
P. Templeton 19 defeated W. Berry 15, G. Wynd 9 lost to B. Bowen 31 and J. Fidge 17 lost to P. Dowdell 21.
Division four, Terang White 35 drew with Timboon White 35.
A.Gready 18 defeated M. Hunt 17 and E. Dakin 17 lost to P. Uebergang 18.
Teams for next Tuesday are as follows:
Division one Terang Blue v City Diamonds away – P. Reid (s), R. Ross, D. Henriksen and B. Kenna; G. Downie (s), J. Fowler, C. Pearson and P. O’Connor; A. Taylor (s), N. Uebergang, J. Gherashe and H. Kenna.
Division two Terang Red v Warrnambool Blue at home – P. Templeton (s), J. Whitehead, Jo Whitehead and F. Cameron; J. Fidge (s), M.Bond, G. Wynd and J. Walters; D. Meade (s), C. Kenna, M. Kenna and D. Hilton.
Division four will have the bye.
