Monthly medal at Camperdown

GOLFERS were able to contest the June women’s monthly medal stroke round at Camperdown Golf Club on either Saturday or Wednesday this week.

Playing on Saturday, Deb Narik won the medal with 100 (25) 75 nett, while the runner-up was Wednesday player Tracey Baker with 90 (13) 77 nett.

Tracey won the putting competition with 34 putts.

Wednesday’s stroke competition was won by David Absolom with 68 (+1) 69 net.

Ruth Skene won the nine-hole competition with the best score on the bottom course.

Nearest the pins: 2nd David Absolom, 9th Gabby Gill, 16th Jake Bateman, 17th Gayle Gill.

Balls down the line went to Jake Bateman and Gayle Gill.

Next week is a stableford round.
