Monthly medal at Terang
FORTY-EIGHT players contested the March monthly medal (stroke and putting) at the Terang golf course last weekend.
The event also coincided with the final round of club championships.
The monthly medal winner on Saturday was Fred Beasley (handicap +1) on nett 67, gross 6.
He was followed by Stephen Arundell (9) 68/77.
B grade went to Luke Tebble (16) 69/85 from Darcy Hutchins (17) 70/87.
Henry Kenna (21) 70/91 won C grade from runner-up Brad Lucas (31) 73/104.
Balls down the line: Phil Beasley (+1) 73/72, Trevor Beasley (8) 73/81, George Beasley (+2) 73/71, Josh Brown (1) 74/75, Tom Wright (26) 75/1-1 and Max Kavanagh (11) 75/86.
Nearest the pins: 3rd George Beasley, 6th Max Kavanagh, 8th Fred Beasley and 11th Luke Tebble.
Fred Beasley won the putting with 23 while eagles went to Stephen Arundell on the 7th and George Beasley on the 14th.
Twelve players contested the nine-hole stableford last Friday night.
The winner was Mitch Wyss (48) 22 points from Ethan Wyss (34) 21 points.
This Friday night will be a stableford nine-hole composite course and Saturday will be stableford.
