Monthly medal for Conheady
DONNA Conheady’s score of 87 (12) 75 net went unchallenged last Saturday, earning her the title of April’s women’s monthly medallist at the Camperdown Golf Club.
Wednesday’s event was a 4BBB pairs stableford round run as a qualifier for the Judy Webber Pairs knockout competition.
The daily winners were the dynamic combination of Donna Conheady (12) and Tracey Baker (12) with 41 points.
Runners-up were the stalwart combination of Doreen Horan (24) and Maree Finlay (28) with 38 points.
Other finalists were Terri Sinnott and Ruth Skene, along with Jenny Hillman and Deb Narik.
The match play knockout rounds will be held later in the year.
Nearest the pins: 2nd Tracey Baker, 9th Terri Sinnott, 16th and 17th Doreen Horan.
The four finalists for the Alice Williams singles knockout competition have also been confirmed.
They are Donna Conheady, Gayle Gill, Terri Sinnott, and Ros Brauer.
The knockout finals will be played at a later date.
Next week is a stableford competition and the third leg of the round robin.
