This week in Mortlake is all about wrapping things up in a neat little bow. Well, almost.
This week in Mortlake is all about wrapping things up in a neat little bow.
Well, almost.
Last Saturday was our presentation night and this year, it was held at our uniform sponsor Mount Shadwell Hotel, Mortlake.
Approximately 50 people attended and an enjoyable night was had by all, even if some below average pool was played in the front bar.
Once again, thanks to Justin and Cheryl Cavenny of the Mount Shadwell Hotel Mortlake for having us last Saturday and your continued support of Mortlake Bowls Club.
This Thursday, Autumn Social Bowls starts up at 1pm. Signup in the box outside the main entrance of the clubrooms.
The last event on your calendars this season is the Annual General Meeting on Thursday, May 12 at 7.30pm. Members that do not have email should look out for a letter in their mailbox in the next few days and any issues should be directed to Scott.
The 2021-22 season is almost complete. Next season will be a once-in-a-lifetime event – our centenary.
We are calling on the general public and past and present members for historical items (whether they be minutes, badges, books, etc) for collation and display during our centenary season.
