Mortlake golfers enjoy stableford

GOLFERS enjoyed a stableford round on the Mortlake course last Saturday.

Richard van Diemen won the day with 37 points, on countback from Glen Byers (21) 35 points. Third was Kevin Etherton (9) 35 points.

Nearest the pins: 6/15 Paul Wareham; 9/18 Glen Byers.

Balls down the line went to Kevin Etherton, Wes Wareham, Paul Wareham, Steve Hubbard and Craig Fowler on countback.

Next week’s event will also be stableford (first round of the singles knockout match play event).
