MRC Ball success
MERCY Regional College (MRC) Year 11 students participated in their Presentation Ball last Friday night.
Held at the Theatre Royal, the evening was attended by 350 family members and friends following several weeks of dance tuition from Tess and Shane Lourey.
Organisers Rose Henry and Allison Lourey said they were pleased with the night and thanked everyone who assisted.
“It was a fantastic evening full of many memorable moments for our Year 11 students,” they said.
“We thank the many staff, parents, technicians and community members who helped make the ball a success.”
Principal Sharon Gillett acknowledged the student’s efforts.
“It was wonderful to see our young people shine on the dancefloor,” Ms Gillett said.
“The Presentation Ball is a time honoured tradition at MRC and we are grateful to everyone who supported the event this year.”
