Music festival to return
AFTER the success of the inaugural festival, the Corangamite Music Festival will return to the Theatre Royal in Camperdown on Saturday, February 7.
Council events and creative industries team leader Tammy Yonng invited residents from across the south west to enjoy a full day of live music featuring talented performers connected to Corangamite Shire.
“It’s a family friendly, alcohol and smoke/vape-free event,” she said.
“From rock and country to punk and show tunes, there’s something for everyone.
“The festival will showcase a variety of performers from the Corangamite region, from youth right through to seniors performing a wide range of genres.
“Entry is free, and refreshments will be available for purchase on-site, as well as a coffee van and a barbecue courtesy of the Camperdown Lions from 11am-2 pm.
“The festival is free, but we encourage you to register at humanitix.com.au.”
Artists will include Band O’Coots, Flamin’ 80s, Tommy Harrold, Mikhaell, Lisztomania, Joy in the Passenger Seat, Bill Gray, Geoff Townsend and Noah Sycopoulis, Elijah Brown, Aidan Vellejo and The Rainbirds
This event is supported by Creative Victoria through the 10,000 Gigs: Victorian Gig Fund.
