New committee for Timboon Action
THE newly elected Timboon Action committee are looking forward to a busy year ahead.
The committee includes:
President: Enid O’Connor;
Vice president: Michelle Fratantaro;
Secretary: Leeanne Whitehead;
Assistant secretary: Chris Harkness;
Treasurer: Russell White;
Committee member: Corry Kerr;
Market coordinator: Kylie Oates.
Outgoing secretary Heather Nichols was thanked for her work during the past six months at the recent meeting.
Looking ahead, the committee has a busy year ahead of events and community initiatives.
The annual Timboon Community Christmas event Santa in the Street will be held on December 20 between 3pm and 7pm.
The popular Makers and Farmers Markets are held on the first Sunday of the month and are proving popular with the community.
The committee are also busy preparing for the Tracks Music Festival to be held in March next year and will feature our local bands.
Timboon Action meets on the first Tuesday of the month at 6.30pm at the Timboon Library and the meeting will run for about an hour.
Membership is $20 and all new members are welcome to help support community initiatives.
