New program for monthly movies

CORANGAMITE Shire residents are invited to enjoy good company, morning tea and some Aussie movies in coming months.

Mayor Cr Kate Makin said council’s Positive Ageing, Access and Inclusion team is presenting free screenings for Corangamite residents on the first Tuesday of each month.

“Each month it will be in a different town so people all around the shire have an opportunity to join in,” she said.

“Whether you come with friends or solo, it’s a fantastic way to meet new people and have a fun day out.

“Entry is free and there will be popcorn and ice-cream for the old-fashioned cinema experience.

“Bookings are essential, so please call 5593 7100 and ask for Belinda or Lesa.”
