Nominations open for Spirit of Mercy
MERCY Regional College (MRC) is now seeking nominations for the third Spirit of Mercy Alumni Awards.
Nominations opened recently, with the winners to be announced at a ceremony dinner on October 17.
MRC principal Sharon Gillett said she is looking forward to celebrating more alumni.
“The Spirit of Mercy Alumni Awards give our current students a source of inspiration,” she said.
“The aim is to tell the stories of our alumni who have had amazing career achievements and who have made exceptional contributions to their local, national or global communities.
“We were very pleased to induct eight members at our last awards in 2024, and this year we again call on members of our broader community to nominate former students of the college who exemplify the Mercy values of excellence and community.
“Anyone can make a nomination and any former student who undertook the majority of their secondary education at MRC or Catholic Regional College (CRC) is eligible to be nominated.”
