On court pressure too strong for Demons
THE Timboon Demons faced a strong Nirranda line-up in the Warrnambool District League A grade competition last weekend.

The Demons fought hard but went down 63-31 on Saturday. Laura Rosolin scored 22 goals and Isabelle Moorhead nine for Timboon, with Nina Barlow, Bethany Hallyburton and Rosolin best for the Demons.
Nirranda had a 50-30 win in the A reserve netball.
Best for Timboon were Lexci Nicholls, Kira Gordon and GiaanGration, with Macey Gale scoring 25 goals.
The B grade game saw Nirranda have a 46-30 win.
Taya Hanegraaf, Allison Cook and Paige Redshaw were best for the Demons, with Nicole Burvill scoring 20 goals.
Timboon had a strong win in the 17 and under netball, 53-14.
Goal shooter Meg Duro shot 31 goals, with goal attack Evie Gordon shooting 13.
Olivia Benson was named as Timboon’s best.
In the 15 and under match, Timboon had a 41-13 win.
Bella Savage scored 16 goals, Ella Drayton scored 13 and Aysha Hollick 12 for the Demons; Savage named best on court alongside Taya Hanegraaf and Emily McLennan.
In the 13 and under game, the Demons had a 31-9 win.
Goal shooter Indii McKenzie put through 16 goals, Emily Plozza and Lahni Hanegraaf the junior Demons best.
