POLICE are investigating the circumstances surrounding two separate rollovers, both of which happened on Monday.

Acting Sergeant Nathan Hunt said police attended the first single vehicle incident, which involved a truck carrying hay, at 9am.

“A single truck collision occurred at about 8.55am when a truck lost control on a sharp bend and rolled onto its on the Camperdown-Lismore Road,” he said.

“The 40-year-old driver walked from the scene and did not receive any injuries.

“Road closures were in place for a short time along the Camperdown-Lismore Road to allow for services to clear the road and salvage the truck.”

Police responded to a second single vehicle incident a few hours later in Foxhow.

“The single car collision occurred at about 10am when a dual cab ute lost control and veered off Hirths Road in Foxhow,” Actg Sgt Hunt said.

“A 51-year-old driver sustained serious but stable injuries and was transported to the Melbourne Hospital via ambulance helicopter.

“No other vehicle was involved.

“Police are reminding road users to take care when driving. Be aware of road conditions and monitor driver fatigue.”
