Orchid Club celebrates birthday
COBDEN and District Orchid Club members celebrated the club’s 38th birthday at their March meeting.

“Over the past year the club has attended numerous shows where many awards have been won,” club president Denise Robertson said.
“In July last year the club attended the mid-year Country Challenge Show in Horsham, as well as the Warrnambool Orchid Show and Colac Orchid Show finishing with our Cobden Orchid Show in October.
“We are only a small club with 36 members and we welcome any new person who is interested in growing orchids.

“You will be made most welcome to join our group.
“Our next meeting is April 10 at the Heytesbury Room in the Cobden Civic Hall at 7pm and all are most welcome to come along.”
