Peaceful paddocks await
WHEN it comes to horses and their management, Genevieve Rounds has the experience, knowledge and patience to ensure every horse under her care is well looked after.

Gen and partner Martin, who run Pullenboon South Equine Retirement, provide a peaceful environment for the physical and mental health of horses in retirement and aged care.
Nestled in the lush farming region of Timboon, Pullenboon South Farm is a 250 acre commercial dairy, beef and equine property.
Both dam and bore supply plenty of water while shelter belts of established cypress and gyms provide a protective sanctuary.
The farm has safe fencing throughout as well as horse rail fencing in some paddocks, providing a secure environment.
“Pasture hay is grown on our property, allowing for strict control of fertiliser applications, management of growth and time of harvest,” Gen said.
“Martin and I have years of equine and farming experience and together we provide attention to detail and daily supervision of all animals to a five star level.
“We believe our farm provides a peaceful environment for the physical and mental health of horses.”

Shared agistment and individual paddocks are available, along with stabling and yard facilities.
“Owner visits are most welcome (by appointment) and we also can tailor an aged care plan to suit all horses,” Gen said.
And when it comes to testimonials, there is an abundance of glowing reports.
“As an equine veterinary surgeon for 40 years at Camperdown, I have no hesitation in strongly recommending both facilities and surroundings, in combination with Gen’s very caring, knowledgeable and experienced approach to horses and their management,” Dr Andrew McKenzie said.
Another user of the facility said it was “literally heavy on earth for horses.”
