Perfect conditions for cyclists
BOTH junior and senior riders enjoyed great conditions for last week’s Camperdown Cycling summer series meet.
Race 10 saw Lily take out the junior race, taking nearly three seconds off her personal best in a time of 20.59.
The second rider over the line was Thea, also with a personal best of 11.05.
Nathaniel pushed to the finish line in third, cementing his best time of 11.09.
The scratch crew made the junior race night interesting, with both Josh and Oliver registering the fastest time of the night with 9.16.
Other finish times were Riley 12.35, Lawson 12.16, Quinn 10.43, Noah 13.03, Henry 12.44, Ava 11.52 and Zane 10.11.
In the senior race, eight starters enjoyed the favourable conditions.
Limit riders Zane, Oliver and Matt C held on to the finish line.
In the last 100 metres the sprint was on – seeing Oliver placed first with a time of 28.36, Zane second 29.45 and Matt C came in third in 28.48.
