Teams from all over the western district competed on the day, with the winning team – on 86 points – coming from Terang; Margie Driscoll, Maureen Bond and Clare Pearson.
The runners-up were Muriel Aberline, Lyn Wood and Michelle Miller from Warrnambool on 83 points.
Balls down the line went to Terang’s Lynette Coxon, Janet Saunders and Maria O’Rourke on 81 points; Timboon’s Lynne Newton, Vera Convey and Maureen Clements 78pts and Hamilton’s Tania
Cullinane, Alma Fonda and Margaret Hadley 76pts.
Nearest the pins: local 3rd Judy Carmody, 6th Heather Holmes and visitors’ 3rd Sue Scrable, 6th Di McKenzie and the 11th Alma Fonda.
Congratulations also to Jenny Meade on winning WDWC senior ladies champion - well done Terang, a super effort from a small country town once again.
This week’s winner was Janet Saunders with 34 points followed by Gary Marr with 32.
The best nine went to Jo Arundell and nearest the pins were Jo Arundell on the third and Maureen Bond, ninth from off the green.
A ball down the line went to Billy Wood.
