PERFECT weather saw over 110 children participate in last Friday night little athletics events.
For many of the athletes, Friday night was the first time they had tried hurdles, it was great to see all athletes doing their best and giving the hurdles (which can be a bit scary for some) a go.
This year we are again up around the 130 registered athletes total this is the clubs second highest total in over 20years.
Congratulations to all families for supporting the centre to be so successful.
At the completion of the Friday night event, we saw an awesome relay practice session, with all of our attendees of the carnival practicing and getting used to working in a team.
It was fantastic to see the camaraderie between the teams. Relay practice will continue this Friday night at the completion of our events.
