Players brave the cold

THE onset of some wintry conditions last weekend resulted in a relatively small field of players at the Terang Golf Club.

Last Saturday’s stableford attracted a field of 21.

The winner on the day was Michelle Bourke (handicap 50) on 40 points, followed by Bernie Kenna (22) on 36.

Balls down the line went to Jeremy Attrill (15) 35, Peter Hrabar (21) 35, Tim Keane (11) 35 and Clin Venn (22) 35.

Nearest the pins: 3rd Tim Keane, 6th Liam Venn, 8th Tyler Beasley and 11th Phil Beasley.

Sunday’s 18 hole stableford was won by Ian Welsford (19) 37 points from runner-up Jesse Welsford (27) 31.

This weekend will see stableford contested on both Saturday and Sunday.
