Poachers undefeated
AFTER two rounds of Corangamite volleyball, Poachers are enjoying an unbeaten run.
They currently lead the ladder by four points from NOBTS, with last season’s premiers Freeballers making a slow start in third.
It has been exciting to see the emergence of two mainly young teams, Iga Ninjas and Ballbusters, who have attracted players from both Camperdown and Timboon schools.
Already they have improved their play and will soon challenge the stronger teams above them.
Round one results:
Champs def Ballbusters 4-0, Poachers def Iga Ninjas 4-0.
NOBTS def Champs 3-0, Poachers def Freeballers 4-0.
Ballbusters def Iga Ninjas 3-1 and NOBTS def Freeballers 3-0.
Round two results:
NOBTS def Iga Ninjas 4-0, Poachers def Champs 3-1.
Freeballers def Ballbusters 4-0, Poachers def NOBTS 2-1.
Freeballers def Champs 2-1 and Ballbusters def Iga Ninja 3-0.
