Congratulations: A number of Port Campbell CFA members received service awards recognising their years of volunteering with CFA.

PORT Campbell Country Fire Brigade members gathered to celebrate volunteers who have spent years volunteering to serve the local community.

Unit captain Katy Millard said the brigade’s service awards were held recently.

She said medals and certificates were awarded to volunteers for their contribution and efforts during their service with the CFA.

Ms Millard said commander Dan Condon was also in attendance to help present the awards.

Awards presented on the night were:
• David Banks – five year certificate;
• James O’Brien – 15 year medal;
• Peter Field – 15 year medal;
• Hans Kruse – 20 year medal;
• Mark Tribe – 30 year medal; and
• Phil Younis – 40 year medal.

A number of other members were also eligble for certificates and medals on the night who were not present which were Angus Gordon and Sarah Matthews with a five year certificate each and Simon Illingworth a 10 year medal.

Ms Millard congratulated all members and thanked them for their efforts.
