A 59-point win over Allansford last weekend has pushed Kolora Noorat to fourth on the Warrnambool District ladder.

Spurred on by a home crowd on Saturday, the Power put on a consistent display of team footy according to coach Nick Bourke.

“They may be sitting eighth on the ladder but Allansford really came out ready to play on the weekend,” Bourke said.

“They got the jump on us in the first quarter and went into the break five points up but we re-grouped and were able to play our brand of footy for the rest of the game which was pleasing."

“The ground was pretty wet and heavy but we managed to get the game under our terms and had a seven point break going into the second half.”

The Power piled on 12 goals in the second half while restricting Allansford to just four majors.

“It was a great team effort but, for me, some of the stand-outs were Luke McConnell and Scott Judd in the midfield and Ryan O’Connor did a great job at full back.”

Final scores were Kolora Noorat 15.8.108 to Allansford 7.7.49.

Best players for Kolora Noorat were Luke McConnell, Ryan O’Connor, Jacan Brooks, Scott Judd, Nick Marshall and Luke Tebble.

Goal kickers: Lucas Boyd (3), Scott Judd (2), Caleb Kavanagh (2), Luke Tebble (2), Nick Bourke, Samuel Boyd, Nicholas Castersen, Thomas Henderson, Luke McConnell and Jack Vaughan.

In the reserves, the Power went down 4.5.29 to 13.16.94.

Best for the home side were Jacob Fishwick, Nathan Wyss, Rhys Cottam-Starkey, Paul McSween, Sam Hutchinson and Nathan Glennen.

Goals went to Nathan Glennen (2), Tylan Brookes and Adam Williams.

The Power will face fifth-placed Merrivale this weekend.
