Powerline closes road
TRAFFIC disruptions were experienced in the Kariah area on Wednesday after a powerline fell over the road.
Fallen: Drivers were redirected after a powerline fell over the Camperdown-Lismore Road on Wednesday.
A Powercor spokesperson said Powercor received the call Wednesday afternoon after a truck brought down a service wire along the Camperdown-Lismore Road.
“Our crews attended and repaired the wire,” the spokesperson said.

“Power was not impacted in the area.”
Police were on scene to divert traffic away from the downed wire while Powercor attended the scene.
