The Demons outscored the Blues in every quarter in the 4.10.34 to 1.8.14 win at the Allansford Recreation Reserve.

Kyle Delaney, Kristofer Gristede, Ned Deppeler, Darcy Bridgewater, Richard Couch and Zack Lenehan were Timboon’s best in the win.

Eben White was the only multiple goal scorer in the match with two, taking his season to 45 in 12 reserves games.

Timboon will take on Allansford in this week’s preliminary final at the Reid Oval.

Timboon’s under 18 footballers are also through to the preliminary final after a 15 point win over Kolora-Noorat in the first semi-final.

Kolora-Noorat led by six points at half-time but were held scoreless in the second half as the Demons stormed home to record a 5.5.35 to 3.2.20 win.

Jhyce Bartlett, Tommy Illingworth, Hugh Smith, Leroy Steere, Jasper Makin and Mitchell Plozza were best for Timboon.

Illingworth and Steere kicked two goals each, with Bartlett kicking one.

The under 18 Demons will play South Rovers in this week’s preliminary final.

In the under 13 second semi-final, Russells Creek scored a 2.2.14 to 1.5.11 win over Timboon.

“We had our chances in what were ordinary conditions,” Demons coach Toby Hendrix said.

“We just couldn’t kick the goals we needed, including hitting the post in the last quarter which would have put us in front.”

Jed Watson, Dane Nicholls, Beau Mackieson, Riley Stephens, Rory Hollick and Fletcher Hickey were Timboon’s best in the loss.

Watson kicked the Demons lone goal, his 50th of the season.

“We had more scoring shots than Russells Creek, we know on our day we can more than match them.”

The under 13 Demons play Dennington in this week’s preliminary final.

“Dennington will be tough, they have been big improvers over the course of the season.

“We’re not thinking about the week after, we just want to go in against Dennington with confidence and play our brand of footy.”
