The Bombers earnt their spot in this weekend’s match after a convincing 44-point win over the Hamilton Kangaroos at Bushfield last Sunday, 11.11.77 to 5.3.33.
The winner of this Sunday’s preliminary final (to be played at Cobden) will face the Koroit Saints in the grand final on Sunday, August 27.
The Bombers led from the start in what was a tight contest throughout the day, with only a goal separating the two at the main break.
The third quarter proved a highlight on the scoreboard for the Bombers who kicked five goals to Hamilton’s one.
Best for the Bombers were Kurtis Baker, Darcy Hutchins, Campbell Walsh, Parker Walsh, Edmund Walsh and Harvey Wiggins.
Kurtis Baker was strong in front of goals, kicking four for the day, while Riley Chamberlain was also effective adding two goals to the board.
Team-mates Kayden Daffy, Darcy Hutchins, Ryan Mottram, Campbell Walsh and Parker Walsh all kicked a goal each.
