The young Demons, coached by Liv Williams, put on a great display of skill and team-work during last Saturday’s Warrnambool and District League grand final match against Russells Creek to win by 10 goals.
The Demons got out to a six goal lead by the end of the first quarter but by half-time Russells Creek were back in the game, with the scores level at 10-all.

A third-quarter surge from the Demons saw them outscore their opponents 12 goals to two and go into the final quarter with a handy 10-goal lead.
With both sides adding six goals to the scoreboard, the final scores were 28-18 in favour of the Demons.
The Demons’ Ellen Whiting was named best on court by umpires.
