Presidents' team wins at Cobden
THIRTY-ONE players contested the Captains’ Team v President’s Team event at Cobden Golf Club last Saturday.

The presidents’ team defeated Captains with an average of 31.73 to 30.86.
A grade was won by D Stewart on 37 points from runner-up A Holster, also on 37.
B grade went to B Welsby 40 from runner-up A Stevens on 36.
Balls down the line went to B Bourke, J. Mason, D Beard, M. Absalom, T Gardner, L Green and J Karney.
Nearest the pin on the fourth went to A Giles while C Horan took the seventh and U Twynstra the 10th.
The closest second on the 14th (handicap 0-15) was won by D. Absalom.
A stableford competition will be held this Saturday, October 28.
Fourteen Cobden ladies played the second round of the Dot Ibbs Cup and was won by Sherine Healey.
The winner of the second round was Sherine Healey with 36 points, with Ellen Darcy the runner-up on 32.

Nearest the pin on the seventh was Ellen Darcy and the second shot on the eighth went to Di Adams.
