Purrumbete wins cross-country
PURRUMBETE has taken out the annual senior campus house cross-country event at Camperdown College.
The energy was high as students laced their shoes ready for the cross-country events last Tuesday, May 6.
Whether they ran for personal best times or for points for their team, there was a high level of determination and team spirt out on the course.
Cheered on by classmates, parents, friends and staff, runners pushed through to the finish line.
Well done to all age group champions – Reagan Webb, Sydney Walsh, Maya Smith, Noah Boyd, Gracie Pearce, Quinn Clark, Pippa Kempton, Patrick Spokes, George Oborne, Zackary Regan, Stella Horspole and Taj Cunningham.
Congratulations also to the winning house, Purrumbete, for their narrow win over Gnotuk and Bullen Merri.
Fifty-six students represented the college at the HSSD cross-country earlier this week.
