Quality field at Mortlake

LAST Sunday attracted another quality field to the Mortlake Golf Club for a three person gentsomes.

The event was won by Peter Palmer (8), Scott Palmer (5) and Slade Palmer (+1) on 93 points.

The runners-up were Rob Field, Dougal Ranken and Tony Richardson.

Nearest the pins: 3/12, Les Dawson; 6/15, Gary Glossop; and 9/18, Garry Shalders.

Balls down the line went to Richard van Diemen, Steve Hubbarrd, Les Dawson, Kurt Robertson, Wes Wareham, Gary Glossop, Scott Richie Garry Shalders and Alisair Clarke.

Last Friday was a nine hole twilight which was won by Tony McLennan on 19-50-31, with David Hubbard second on 25-39-34 on countback.

Nearest the pin on the 9th was Peter Palmer.

Next week is stableford.
