The visitors put on 68 for the second wicket before Charlie Mahncke struck twice in three overs to have Dennington at 3/75.

The Cats continued to take wickets at a good rate, having the Dogs 8/124 in the 39th over before an unbeaten ninth wicket partnership of 44 saw Dennington finish with a respectable total.

Mahncke, Todd Lamont and Damien Goddard all took two wickets each, with one each to Britten and Kalhan Sineth.
