Rainfall high for Terang, Mortlake
JUNE brought rainfall well above the long-term monthly average to Terang and Mortlake in part due to high rains earlier in the month.

Terang experienced 115.8mm of rain throughout June, the highest monthly rainfall experienced on the year and 37.8mm above the long-term average.
The highest daily rainfall occurred on June 7 when 25.2mm of rain hit the ground.
The figure marks a slight increase on June from the previous year, when 108.6mm of rain fell.
The rainfall tally to date stands at 359mm, slightly above the long-term average of 341.2mm during the first six months of the year.
Meanwhile in Mortlake, 82.6mm of rainfall was recorded during June representing an increase on the long-term monthly average of 53.8mm.
The highest daily rainfall was recorded on June 1 and 7, with 15mm of rain falling during the 24-hour period on both dates.
The figure marked an increase from June 2021, during which 67.2mm fell.
Mortlake has experienced 277.4mm of rainfall during the first half of the year, slightly above the long-term average of 254.6 during the same period.
