Rainfall on lower end
SEPTEMBER proved to be yet another dry month across Cobden and district.
Below average: Despite a freak storm early in September which saw trees and homes battered there was not much rain for the month.
SEPTEMBER proved to be yet another dry month across Cobden and district.
A total of 40.6mm of rain fell across Cobden for the month, representing half of the long-term average of 87mm.
The highest daily rainfall was 16mm which was recorded on September 9.
So far this year, a total of 588.2mm of rain has hit the ground over Cobden and surrounds, well down on the 650mm for the same time last year.
