SCHOOLS in Camperdown, Lismore and Derrinallum have welcomed new student leaders for 2023.

SCHOOLS in Camperdown, Lismore and Derrinallum have welcomed new student leaders for 2023.
Camperdown College’s secondary school campus welcomed sports captain Eliza O’Neil, Student Representative Council president Riley Stephenson, student voice captain Lewani Bateman, and school captains Selvia Suson and Ruby Walsh.
At Camperdown College’s primary campus, Isla Spokes and Oliver Horspole were inducted into their role as school captains.
Mercy Regional College introduced Ryan House captains Alex Kenna and Isabelle Kenna, Frayne House captains Amelia Beaton and Emily Darcy, Marquee House leader Fred Beasley, Tinly House leaders Jessica Bouchier and Olivia Meade, environmental leader Jack McKee, Arts leader Archie Rees, Community College captain Jack Vaughan, School Excellence captain Tahlia Berry, and Faith College captain Eloise Chivell.
St Patrick’s Primary School announced Daisy Courtney, Jimmy Cheeseman, Charlie Bourke, and Madison Lucas as the school’s 2023 school captains.
Lismore Primary School welcomed Tyler Daffy and Tyler Grundmann as 2023 school captains.
Lismore Primary School’s Education support officer Pauline Graham gave a simple message to the school captains.
“I hope the school captains will grow as the year progresses, become better leaders and that they prepare and look forward to their journey after primary school,” she said.
Derrinallum P-12 College’s principal Caitlyn Fitzgerald said primary school captain Fletcher Greig and secondary school captain Ella Hampson officially signed the pledge book recently.
“As a school, we are hoping to tap into our student voice, and really empower our students to have more of a say and more of a drive in the educational future of Derrinallum College,” she said.
