The Great South Coast Eventing Association is excited to be running horse trials once again – for the first time since 2019.

An updated cross-country course, courtesy of course designer Wayne Copping, will greet competitors on Saturday and Sunday.

Over the last 18 months the small but dedicated committee has worked tirelessly to fundraise and get the event back on the Eventing calendar.

This included running a very successful winter series last year, the painting of show jumps, and the purchase of 24 new portable cross- country jumps ranging from 65cm to one metre.

The committee also held several clinics and training days which were very well supported and they look forward to continuing the Winter Series and more clinics in 2024.

GSCEA is thrilled to have a record number of entries for this weekend’s event, with over 100 received, and thanks all competitors, loyal sponsors and volunteers for their support.

President Pat Ryan also paid tribute to members of the Great South Coast Eventing Association Committee for all of the hard work members have put into the event.
