Refs earn their stripes
THE future of basketball referring in Camperdown is looking bright, with five youngsters recently earning their stripes.
Vogue Fleming, Matilda Narik, Darby Sinnott and Charlie Unwin have this week earned their stripes. Also passing the assessment was Daisy Courtney (absent from photo).
Vogue Fleming, Matilda Narik, Darby Sinnott, Charlie Unwin and Daisy Courtney were this week assessed on their performances during match play.

The group has spent the last two to three years wearing green as part of the basketball association’s ‘green shirt program’ and after passing this week’s test, all have been promoted to ‘striped C grade referees.’
