Regionals await basketballers
CAMPERDOWN College’s year 5/6 boys’ All Star basketball side has won its way through to the Hooptime regional championships.
Camperdown’s 5/6 boys’ basketball side will compete in the regional championships in October.
The side competed against other local schools at the Terang Stadium last Friday and finished the day undefeated.
They then won the grand final, earning themselves a place at the regional championships, to be held on Monday, October 27.
Camperdown’s year 5/6 girls’ team also performed well throughout the day, playing some fantastic basketball and demonstrating collective teamwork and determination.
The girls finished the tournament with two wins.
“A huge congratulations to all players for their sportsmanship, skill and effort on the court,” prep-year six sport coordinator, Matt Harkin said.
