Renae celebrates 100th game

THREE-time A grade premiership player Renae Reynolds chalked up her 100th game for the Tigers last weekend.

THREE-time A grade premiership player Renae Reynolds chalked up her 100th game for the Tigers last weekend.

The milestone was made even sweeter when Reynolds’ A grade side enjoyed a comfortable 59-goal win over Moyston Willaura.

Playing on her home court, Reynolds once again showed her reliability and versatility, dominating in the mid-court.

“We can always rely on Renae to put in 110 per cent,” co-coach Kate Jubb said.

“She’s always reliable and can play all over the court. Our A grade side this year is a young one but they’re constantly learning and really starting to gel well."

“This weekend we’ll be up against Lismore Derrinallum so that will be a great test for us.”

Jubb said when the clubs last met, back in round one, only one goal separated thetwo sides.

“This weekend will be a good indication of where we now sit so we’re looking forwardto it.”

Final scores in last Saturday’s A grade match were Woorndoo Mortlake 72 defeated Moyston Willaura 13.

Goals: Sarah Cameron (38) and Elise Killen (34).

B grade also enjoyed a comfortable win,

35-19, with Jaime Killen and Nicole Anderson named best for the Tigers.

In the C grade game, Ashlea Ranken and Olivia Loader were named best in a 34-10goal win.

In the junior matches, the Tigers’ 17 and side continued its winning streak with a 51-19 goal victory while the 15 and unders were defeated 18-22 (Ava Wardlaw named best for the Tigers).

The Tigers’ 13 and under side enjoyed a 22-4 goal victory with Layla Wardlaw named best on court for the home team.
