THE Melbourne Renegades had players hitting the road last week as their Regional Roadshow returned to the region and Camperdown College was lucky enough to score a visit.

Players visited various schools and community groups across the Renegades heartland of western, north-west and central Victoria.

“We have many students who love cricket and it’s great to finally be able to get visits from elite sporting groups back in our yard,” said Camperdown College assistant principal Jacinta
Tolland said.

“Visits like this to the college inspire the next generation and the clinic and question and answer session covered more than hitting balls and making runs."

“So many students are now eagerly awaiting the start of cricket season and we’re really appreciative of the Renegades making the visit.”

Renegades players Zak Evans and Rhiann O’Donnell spent time with grade 3-4 students as part of the visit.
