Residents help mark milestone
COBDEN’S Mini Golf was the place to be over the weekend.

COBDEN’S Mini Golf was the place to be over the weekend.
Hundreds of people helped celebrate 21 years of the course over a two day celebration.
The Cobden Rotary Club run facility held three events, according to club member Gary Kimber.
“We had a fabulous weekend celebrating Cobden Rotary’s 21st Mini Golf birthday,”he said.
“Over three events , in excess of 200 people from surrounding Rotary clubs, the Cobden community, pandemic first responders – police, CFA, SES, doctors and staff, ambulance officers and Cobdenhealth staff all enjoyed mini golf, face painting, fairy floss, snow cones and of course a barbecue and drinks.
“Cobden Rotary was honoured to be able to share our Mini Golf 21st birthday with so many people and thank everyone for their support particularly over the past two years.”
Mr Kimber said part of the celebration was the planting of a tree and special cake cut by past Rotarian Alan Hart.
