Residents pause to pay respects
RESIDENTS across the region paused for a moment at services across the district to pay their respects to the servicemen and women who served in war.
Cobden Primary School students and staff paid their respects at Monday’s Remembrance Day service.
In Cobden, community members joined with Cobden Primary School staff and students on Monday to mark the passing of the armistice on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month.
The school has been holding the service for more than a decade which continued to be well supported by community members.
Remembrance Day marks an opportunity for Australians to reflect on the bravery of Australia’s veterans.
