Returning the favour

CAMPERDOWN Rotary Club members paid a special visit to the Corangamite Hockey Club grounds last Saturday with a gift in tow.

Rotary Club members donated $1000 towards the hockey club, whose members often help the Rotary Club to sell showbags at the Camperdown Show.

Rotary Club secretary Graeme Fischer said it was a win-win scenario for both clubs.

“I think it’s wonderful,” he said.

“If a service club can help another organisation and they help us back, it’s a positive.

“That’s what a service club should be about – helping each other and helping other groups in the community.”
