Open for business: Camperdown Cellarbrations held its grand opening last Friday, with Polwarth MP Richard Riordan cutting the ribbon to welcome Sukoon Bedi and his team to town.

A ribbon cutting and grand opening was held last Friday, with customers forming long lines to take advantage of the grand opening specials.

Cellarbrations Camperdown director Sukoon Bedi said the grand opening had been a success for the independently-owned family business.

“It’s lovely,” he said

“The town is amazing and we’ve had really good support from everyone.

“As soon as we opened, everyone was popping in to say hello.

“We’re very excited – it was a wonderful opening.”

Member for Polwarth Richard Riordan cut the ribbon to officially open the store, welcoming the family to its prominent 169 Manifold Street premises.

“This is a small family business which has stores in towns across Polwarth,” he said.

“It’s great to see the little guy doing well in a competitive market place, here to provide a service in a small town.

“Hopefully they can bring a good service, a range of products and good prices to Camperdown to help support local jobs and keep local dollars in the town.”
