Rix wins at Cobden

G.RIX has finished on +6 to take the A grade win at Cobden Golf Club last Saturday.

Twenty players contested the Fred Errey Pairs quality round (par) event.

C. Dobson finished on +5 to be the runner-up in A grade.

B grade went to D. Lamb on +5 from N. Kemp on +2.

Nearest the pin: 4th R. Rix, 7th A. Giles, 10th C. Dobson, closest second on the second was a jackpot while closest on the 14th was A. Giles.

Balls down the line: C. Horan, J. Walker, A. Giles and G. Byrne.

Seedings for the Fred Errey handicap pairs are: 1 – J. Walker and A. Giles, 2– C. Dobson and K. Duffin, 3 – D. Bath and G. Byrne, 4 – A. Holster and C. Sargeant.

Next week will be the Barrett Shield v Timboon at Cobden.
