Roadshow rolls into Cobden

TIMBOON Motors took the business on the road on Friday – literally.
Staff members Pete McEwan and David Costin set up a Spring Roadshow in Cobden on Friday giving residents a chance to look through all the items in stock.
From mowers which mow the lawn themselves, to chainsaws and safety gear, and even a number of new cars on sale, the day had it all.
Mr McEwan was pleased with how the day went and said people were arriving early to check out the items on offer.
“From 10 onwards we’ve had a couple of people here at most times,” he said.
“We’ve sold a few big ticket items.”
Mr McEwan said the Spring Roadshow was a way to showcase the businesses stocked items to the wider community.
“Cobden doesn’t really have anything like this so we thought we’d help out the community,” he said.
“Thank you to the Cobden Business Network who have been helpful with the day and to the church for letting us use this space.”
A barbecue was also held on the day, with all proceeds to be donated to Cobdenhealth.
