Roadworks continue until July
MOTORISTS are urged to be patient with significant roadworks being completed on Timboon-Nullawarre Road.

MOTORISTS are urged to be patient with significant roadworks being completed on Timboon-Nullawarre Road.
Department of Transport regional director (Barwon South West) Michael Tudball said landslip prevention works were currently taking place.
“Crew are completing two extensive components of work along Timboon-Nullawarre Rd including landslip prevention works and major road rehabilitation,” he said.
“There are two landslip sections along this road that are being repaired and rebuilt to improve safety and stability throughout the region.”
As a result of the earth moving underneath, crews are excavating the slopes where landslips have occurred and rebuilding about 800m of slopes across both sections.
These landslip sections will be made more stable and stronger by using imported dirt and crushed rock.
More than 2.4km of Timboon-Nullawarre Rd is being rebuilt for a safer and smoother journey for all road users. To further boost safety, barriers are being installed at specific sites along the road.
These upgrades are being completed thanks to the combined Australian Government and Victorian Governments’ multi-million-dollar investment in the Australian Government’s Road Safety Program.
Work is expected to be completed in July, weather permitting.
