Roaring in school holiday fun
THESE school holidays, children can let their imaginations take flight with a magical hands-on workshop to make their own dragon puppets.
The free events at libraries promises an hour of fantasy, fun and artistic expression.
Inspired by the latest installment of the beloved ‘How to Train Your Dragon’ movie series, this workshop is designed especially for primary school-aged children.
Using paper, glue and their imagination, they will bring their very own dragon puppet to life.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for kids to get creative, connect with others, and enjoy a screen-free activity that’s both fun and educational,” library officer Alyssa Miles O’Bray said.
“We’re thrilled to offer a program that sparks imagination and brings stories to life through craft.
“All materials will be provided, and friendly library staff will guide the children through each step of the process so they can go home with their own unique puppet − and a big smile.
