Robertson wins at Mortlake

TWENTY-seven players contested stroke/monthly medal and the first round of club championships at the Mortlake Golf Club last weekend.

Warm and windy conditions greeted golfers on the course last Saturday.

A grade was won by Todd Robertson 16-87-71 on countback from Peter Palmer 9-80-71 on countback from third-placed Hamish Weatherly 3-74-71.

B grade was won by Gary Glossop 22-90-68 from runner-up Ryan Tanner 20-92-72 on countback from third, Will Berryman 19-91-72.

Nearest the pins: 3/12 Hamish Weatherly, 6/15 Kurt Robertson, 9/18 Garry Shalders.

Balls down the line went to Hamish Weatherly, Rob Field, Will Berryman, David Hubbard, Charles Kenny, Kurt Robertson, Garry Shalders and Aaron Davies.

Net week’s event will be stroke, second round of club championships.
