Rocking good time at Red Hill
WET weather failed to dampen spirits at a fundraiser at Red Hill Hall recently.
WET weather failed to dampen spirits at a fundraiser at Red Hill Hall recently.
Red Hill Hall Committee member Sharyn Finlayson said the committee would hold the event again.
“Our day was well attended considering the weather which was not kind to us at all,” she said.
“The committee has already had a debrief session and committed to holding the event again next year, with plans to make it bigger and better with a later time slot.
“We were happy with the amount we made for the day thanks to our sponsors and all that turned up were very generous.”
Mrs Finlayson said more than 20 raffle prizes had been donated with attendees buying up tickets.
“We are very grateful for Level Up playing and providing the entertainment for the day and to Cobden Rotary for cooking our barbecue lunch,” she said.
The committee is working to raise funds to install an all access toilet at the Red Hill Hall.
