Rotary makes donation
ROTARY Club of Cobden members have given their support to those impacted in the recent western Victoria fires.
Club president David Childs said a $2000 donation had been made through the Rotary Australia Relief Fund, which enables clubs to assist disadvantaged communities and individuals through humanitarian aid projects.
He said following the St Patrick’s Day fires in the area six years ago, people in the area benefited from donations from Rotary club’s across the Rotary district.
Mr Child’s said the club was pleased to be able support those in their time of need following the recent fires.
He said the Rotary Club of Cobden proudly supports local, national and international projects.
