Rotary reports Labour Day weekend success
TRAVELLERS from across the district took time to stop and browse at the Camperdown Rotary Club’s market on their way to their Labour Day long weekend plans last Friday.

The market saw 20 stalls selling a variety of crafted goods, food, clothing and other items around midday on Friday – one stall even provided massages under the shade of the elms.
Camperdown Rotary Club secretary Graeme Fischer said the variety of stalls was “interesting”, with special notice going to a volunteer health service provided at the markets.
“Amanda Castersen from Manifold Place came over and did 40 blood pressure tests, which I thought was a wonderful voluntary service,” he said.
“She told four people they needed to go to a general practitioner urgently.”
Mr Fischer said the markets were very busy.
“There were quite a few people from outside Camperdown came to the markets,” he said.
“We had a lot of good feedback from people travelling from Birregurra, Winchelsea, Colac, Terang, Cobden, Mortlake and Ballarat.
“I’m impressed with that because it’s extra dollars in town, and the town certainly had a vibrant look about it on Friday.”
